Last year I did the gen1 to gen2 electrics conversion on my 1397 gen1 bike, including ecu and speedometer swap.
The interior trim on the gen1 will fit around the gen2 speedometer, but there are holes due to the different design.
I designed and 3dprinted a 2 pcs. plate to cover the gaps between the speedo and interior trim. If you need one, its on tinkercad on this link.
Best printed in ABS, PC or other heat resistant plastic (not PLA).
