Hard decision :(

I don't post here much but here goes. I have recently posted my 2008 Busa on craigslist in hopes of trying something different (1199). I received a couple of calls from interested parties and zillion email scams. One particular buyer wanted more pics since he was out of state so I cleaned her up today for her photoshoot, and now I'm feeling guilty. I know deep down inside it will be hard to part with her and I will miss the instant power of the busa. Has anyone felt this way?

yes i felt the same way when i sold my gsxr 1000 i watch the guy load her up &pull off i felt so bad i chased him around the plot tring give the money back

Well, it's hard to compare a Busa to an 1199. The Busa is like the friendly girl next door and the 1199 is a finicky supermodel. The bikes have totally different personalities and strengths so this could be a difficult transition. Good luck though, both are amazing bikes in their own ways.

2 totally different bikes...a friend of mine has 1 and its sweet and is a true thoroughbred with 1 purpose..in my older age i like having a bike like the busa with tons versatility..just my 2 cents...best of luck

IMO, if you already feel guilty or reluctant to sell the Busa now, its going to be alot worse after its gone.
Then later you might be telling yourself, "wish I had never sold it."

It happened to me....traded my Busa for my GSXR 1k because I was BORED. Even sold the wifes Busa and picked up her a GSXR600. After one riding season on the 1k I REALLY missed my Busa. I tried to wait for a new bigger motor to come out but of course Suzuki failed on that So I decided to grab the 2012 and now I have my 1k and Busa...life is good Damn weather sucks.

I think you will fall into the same thing I did...just saying. Good luck with your choice.

same here..i have went out and bought a L1 1K along side my busa and i hate to say it but i wasted my money...not that the 1k is a bad bike its great but i just love my busa that much that the only way to get me away from her would be to pry my dead from her...yea...i love her that much..

that's tough bro...I've posted Bella on craigslist several times and each time found an excuse not to reply to an e-mail, or not to deal with stupid questions thinking "you don't deserve her..." lol. I'll just keep her and make due......I mean.....I love her....:inlove:

I just sold my 08 2 days ago and really hated to see it go but it was something I had to do. Best of luck

Hated that I sold my 07 due to financial reasons. But after saving money and lots of shopping I'm back on a busa that I love even more. It really sucks. Especially when it's nice out and you see motorcycles going down the road.
