 Is there any particular's I should know about?

I loved how my 06 had the sweet white/silver paint scheme and it was relatively stock except for the full polish, hid and 2-brother's exhaust.

What is the most popular exhaust for the new bike? thinking about a Tobin seat for this bike. First set of mods I should consider?

thanks for any advice as I'm still a newbie with these bikes!

The difference in ride between a Gen1 and Gen2 is amazing! Appearance mods are pretty much the same. Comes with a gear indicator so you won't need that. Aftermarket windscreen for sure.

I'd suggest having the suspension set up. The forks are really soft, fine for ride quality, but they need some adjustment for cornering. I also recommend changing the steering damper oil to something heavier.

there was alot of dicussion before on changing the oil in the steering damper,I believe if you use a heavier oil you need to also do something with the seals since they arent designed for the heavy weight oil,you may want to check into that

I haven't noticed any problems, but only did it recently. I'll have to keep an eye on it. Thanks!

Rode my friend's 08' last week and it is more refined...better brakes, better guages, better suspension, smoother running/shifting.
