Gen II bodywork trimming?

I got the left side done just fine. But, on the right side, the exhaust pipes on my Velocity Racing stage 1 come out at an angle and the panel goes on at a different angle (that make any sense?)... I don't want to make cuts in the panel that will be in the wrong place when the panel is all fitted up. Does anyone have any advice or photos they might share of what a final fit-up looks like?

I've searched for pictures and advice, but so far am coming up empty.

i like to actually use a couple laser levels(or lines) or something that projects a spot and mount it up to position thing where they need to be
then remove parts and put plastics on to help know where things need cut
it takes a little time but makes everything right
