Gen II body on a Gen I

I have searched and didnt find.

Will the Gen II fairings fit on a Gen I? I would like to have the Gen II look, but my Gen I is paid for. Does anyone know if the Gen II fairings will fit? Are there any other mods that must be done so that they will fit? I figure if someone can put the GSXR 1k tail on a Busa, its gotta work some how....

Won't fit without modification there are a few on here with gen II pieces on Gen I

All Gen 2 plastics
gen2 front fairing stay
complete gen2 rear sub frame as well as pegs

Now fro the fun part, your gen1 gauge cluster, will fit with modification to the gen2 inners

Its a lot of work, but can be done!

For what it would cost you, you would be better off selling your Gen-I and buying a Gen-II. You can get used ones for VERY cheap with the economy hurting so many...
