Gen I fuel cap fit Gen II?

Does a Gen I fuel cap fit a Gen II?

I am looking to get a non-locking fuel cap for my Gen II, but the only ones I like are for a Gen I. Although, it looks like the mounting holes are the same or close enough that the Gen I cap will fit a Gen II.

I believe not.......Aftermarket ads show two distinct fillers.

no, one is a four hole mount the other is a 3 hole mount. cant remember which way it is but i believe the gen2 is a 3 hole.

might contact the ones you like for the gen1 alot of the ones i liked and didnt see listed were manufactured just not on the parts list yet

yep, got 4 holes on the gen1
