!! GEN 2 Air Box Mod !!

HPC did some kind of airbox mod. He posted the results and said it diid make a difference.
I think he coated the top of the airbox lid (to help keep the air cooler)... not sure if it helped any. We did a no air filter comparison vs's the high flow and found that the high flow would make just as much power as without a filter. I don't believe there is any mods at this time for the genII airbox...sorry.
Our RACE mods....
removed secondaries
removed center support post
gutted OEM filter left screen
ceramic coated entire airbox
plugged all ports except crank case vent and AIC
Optional: short stacks....
Gains: nothing to note but should be added to the list of the "little things" before a race tune..just like the small airbox mod of the Gen 1 series..
We did notice that NO filter on the dyno required an additional 6% of fuel indicating more air flow did occur.............RACE USE ONLY
