Gen 1 header fit a gen 2 bike

We have a gen 1 header that we tried on before we put on the Brock's alien head header set up on the gen 2. My question is, it looked to fit well, I don't know what 1st gen header it is though. The Brock's alien head muffler slipped onto the 1st gen header where the mid pipe mount goes. What do you all think about this? I can get a free 4-1 header for my gen 2 bike, just need the can or mid pipe to work. What does a black alien head can cost?

$600 + your basically buying a conversion kit..

1st gen header will work but you will have to trim the left fairing cause the pipe hits it.

Trim fairing as in where n Exactly? Anyone using a gen 1 on there gen 2? What all did you do to make it work?

Works just fine on a Gen 2.

I've heard people say the Gen-1 systems don't make as much power on a Gen-2. Some have said it hits on the belly-pan area but some pipes seem to be an issue and some don't...
