fuel prices

$2.21 (86 octane) El Paso

Stealership detailed my new truck and filled the tank yesterday. 26 gallon tank, I dropped it off with the fuel light on. Took 25.768 gallons for a total of $56.92

Have to love the offer of filling the tank.

$2.35 for 87 here.
Same. It flucuates depending on where in WI, too. $2.32 to $2.35 for 87 octane. Somtimes it jumps to $2.39 or $2.42, then drops again.

WTF is up with that anyway?

Wow, that's high, in my area of WA we are about $2.29 a gallon for that grade, $2.79 for the highest grade.

Jumped from $2.11 this morning to $2.39 this afternoon for 87. I haven't heard the reason for the jump this time.

Just head over to http://www.gasbuddy.com/

You can check the prices anywhere in the US and Canada.

I was paying from .95 to 1.0x when riding around in Canada last week. Two years ago when I rode through, I remember it being about .78 per liter. The prices still seemed to work out the same. About 8 to 10 bucks CDN for each fillup. Down here it's 6 to 8 bucks.

Just filled the 650 Turbo up about 30 minutes ago. I about shid when I pulled up to the pump and saw $2.58 a gallon for 93.

What sucks is that I have to use that chain of gas stations for the CXT's since they need 94 and that's the closest in this area. All other stations carry 92 and right now that's around $2.43 a gallon.
Busa is awesome in that it only needs 87 which has been running from $2.15 to $2.29 depending on what time of the day it is. It's crazy, you can pass a gas station 10 times a day and each time there will be a different price.

BTW this is in nw Indiana

2.15~2.20 for 89.

It's summer...run the lower octanes to drop engine temps by perhaps a whole degree or two!
It may not help the temps to much in 95F+ heat...but it's a little easier on the wallet.:p
