POST NOTE: I had to break this up as there were too many pics to post at once.......
Myself and a few friends were finally able to coordinate our vacation schedules and planned a trip to the Gap.
For those who do not want to read my entire story, here is the Cliffnotes: I bought Cortech Sport Saddlebags and a Super mini tank bag, rode 400 miles from Southern IL to Sweetwater, TN with two others and rode the Cherohala Skyway and the Gap. I had the best time I have ever had on a motorcycle, period!! I am not a corner carver, but was really getting into it by the end of the day.
Total miles: 1076 in three days.
Jason, John, and myself all hit the road at 7am
Jason on his 05 1k, John on his 06 Busa and me on my 04 Busa
At the first gas stop in Hopkinsville, KY we saw this:
No idea what it was carrying........??
A scenery pic on the way in TN
Dinner that evening at the Cherohala Crossing. http://www.cherohalacrossing.com/
Great BBQ and atmosphere. Cute Waitress, too!
