Backstory...

A year and a half ago, I almoste ate a Dodge 2500 because my brakes got hydraulic fluid on them due to leaking fork seals. I'm guessing that they started leaking shortly after I got my 1397 back, it's pretty wheely happy. Anyway, Gixxertek in Lakewood replaced the seals and rebuilt my forks, replaced brake pads, cleaned up the whole front end, and unfucked my galfer brake lines. First time I squeezed the brake lever leaving his shop, I almost went over the bars. Holy moly. I didn't realize how bad the brakes had gotten.

Moral of the story is to pay attention to your front forks. When fork fluid gets on your brake pads it males a tremendous impact on the friction available to stop your bike. Ride safe out there folks.
