You can also just remove the hump and hold on to the framework.

Just say no to the grabrail hump mod.

Not to be rude...but there have been several threads on this over the past few months.

Use the search button, you will find more threads that you can look at on most anything you could ever want to know about owning this bike.

Also, if you feel in the vent on the left side of the rear plastic, you will grab the frame. This is where I grab to staighten and stabilize the bike.

Dragging up an old post........

I usually put my handy stand on the spools with the bike on the side stand. I then stand on the rh side, and grab the pass peg tilt it towards me. When the rear stand is level and on its wheels, I push back on the stand and pull on the peg.

I figure that if it starts to tip my way, I can catch it, but if it goes the other way, it just land on the stand.

I had to have some help the first couple times, esp with the front stand. You could not have driven a needle up my sphincter with a sledgehammer!!!!!

Simple........I just ride into Baxley sport chock, position pit bull on rear spools....lift...done.:p
