Well, it's not mine or a friends, but i saw it on craigslist as i look everyday. currently i am in no position to buy it, but figure i'll help the guy out. that, and i'm wondering if he's asking for a good price. honestly i wish i was ready to buy because i would be there tomorrow!

I guess the 'Much invested in bike.' includes '03 plastics? I've seen the bike pictured before and if memory serves its not a '99!

When I was looking, I responded to a few ads that only had email addresses. These bikes were dirt cheap, so I'm sure the ad drew lot's of attention. I would get a response indicating that the seller had recently mover overseas, and they could no longer keep the bike. The replies were very specific with how payment sound be made using a supposedly secure payment system.
After I got 3 replies using this same tactic, I decided to call BS.
I took this as just another scam.

Think it would be much harder to scam on a domestic bike.
