Ok, got the bike home and it runs great. No sputter, hiccups or anything bad. It purrs but the FI light stays on all the time.

It's a Hahn stage 1 kit with 400miles on it. One thing i found was the air temp sensor with the green fitting that screwed into the bottom of the airbox is plugged in but just laying on top in front of the throttlebodies.
I hope there's somewhere it's supposed to go.

Could this be related?

jumper out the dealer mode connector and get the code then we can will be able to help you a little better....
the air temp sensor is laying their because there is no place on some of those turbo plenum for it ...but try to placing it where it won't get too hot since it is part of the fuel injection compensation circuit....

Get a paper clip to use as a jumper.

Take off the rider's seat. Behind the battery but before the tool kit, look for 2 wires that end in a 4 holed plug.

Take the paper clip and jump the 2 holes in the plug that are connected to the 2 wires in the back of the plug. Turn on the ignition and look at your clock. The FI code will appear there

Check THIS thread.
Has a good diagram of how it should be plumbed.
Hahn is probably set up the same way.

I did the jumper wire and the bike tells me everythings clear. The fuel gauge on my bike doesn't read and alot of times it reads dead empty with the fuel light on. Well, when i was riding the other day i noticed the fuel gauge jumped up right below the red area. As soon as the low level light went out the FI light came on. I'm thinking it may be related. I also noticed there's a little black box wired right around the ECU area. I'm checking into things now.

In the meantime the bike runs great with no problems except for the heating up in traffic deal. I'm gonna drain and refill the coolant system with some engine ice. Hopefully the ice and burping the system helps.

That's strange. Was the FI light on when you checked for the fault code? It has to be on or flashing in order to get a code out of it.

Sorry I can't help you more, you've got a gremlin in there

The light doesn't flash, it stays on. The previous owner said the shop that did the tuning tried everything to get that light to shut off. Needless to say i will find the cause.

Refer to my post above. There's no codes showing.

Little black box sounds like a Hahn FI box.
Supposed to trick the ecu whenever the map sensor sees boost.

Sounds like they didnt hook the fuel level sensor back up in the tank causing the fi light to come on.
