He was surounded by I believe the 12th Panzer and some genadiers and elite paratroopers etc.
Him and his boys were a few clicks west of the town of Foy.
They were right in the heart of Belgium. The "Battle of the Bulge".
The boys from the 101st Airbourne were in there too,along with some other outfits.
I believe it was Patton who broke thru to rescue them.

Althou it has always been told that the "Battered Basterds of Bastogne" never needed rescueing.

Layeff!, Right!, Layeff!, right!, when I say layeff!, your left foot strikes the deck!. In my ear for 15 fuggin min's at the top of his lungs until it dawned on me that "I" was out of step cause I wasnt allowed to look and see on my 1st day. Then I learned that some guy named Jodi was screwin my girl every day while I was gone, and that her new name was mary jane R.C. according to my DI.
