Fairings and oil change???

I ordered my owner's manual, but haven't gotten it yet. Wanting to change the oil tomorrow. Is there anything tricky I need to know about getting the fairing off or changing the oil? Thanks.

Things I found,, they hide a small push plug fastener up, behind the front wheel, and the oil filter is kind of hard to get to. I got the smallest metal strap wrench I could find and added a little duct tape(ala Red Green) to get it to stick to the filter.
About that oil filter, do a search on it. There are 2 theories on tightening them, read the posts on the subject and you can make your own decision.

Everything else is pretty straight forward.

KN-138 oil filter has a nut on the end. That should make it easier to get off and on.
