Here's the finale from Hostel Part II for y'all to enjoy (again or for the first time). I was surprised and really loved this movie because it gave you what the first Hostel did plus something new. For the most part, this sequel has gotten good reviews but only bad reviews came from obnoxious types who just complained about the violence... and called it pornography. That's absurd!
For anyone here who's seen Apocalypto... you all know how that film really wasn't that violent at all compared to MANY movies out there, but Mel G got a bad raping from the critics because of his recent slips of the tongue. But, yeah, Hostel part II is extremely violent at times and pushes the limits of the R rating. But who cares? It's just a movie! And the blood is edible and the flesh is rubber!!! LOL!

Anyway, enjoy this clip... it's pretty good quality (from a workprint that came out a month before the theatrical release). It will spoil the movie for you! Be warned!

It was okay, but I wasn't thrilled with it. Seeing the other side of the business with the client's was cool. But the 3 girls felt far too much like the 3 guys. 1 disappears earlier than the others, etc. I don't know. The last 15 minutes was ok, but I dont think it lived up to their hype of the most shocking ending in horror movie history, or however they worded it. I'm not the only one who felt that way. Of the 3 people I went with, I had the most positive review. 1 downright hated it, and 2 others we're indifferent. I liked it, but not as much as the last.

But... IF you liked the first Hostel, you should definitely see the whole movie, though!

I can understand why some wouldn't love it... but I saw it as another thrill ride inside the "hostel world". I am glad the sequel gave us pretty much the same story as the first film but with some added things. I thought it was a pretty good sequel. I'm glad we didn't get another chase sequence at the end... because then the sequel really would have been a remake of the first flick.

IF they did a 3rd film, I think it would be cool if somehow the authorities set up a big sting and took the place down!

I liked the 2 clients the best. The one who seemed to anticipate the killing the most was awesome. He cracked me up. That part was cool. I don't know. Good sequel, but not great. Definitely worth a watch if youre into that type of flick.

About the "shocking moment in movie history" comment... well...

It's PRETTY SHOCKING just for what they show. It really pushes the R rating to a new level I think.

Maybe they should have said the "nastiest" instead of "most shocking" or something... because if you're a guy with )#)# you'll feel that pain! *joke for those who've seen the movie... you know the PAIN that dude had!!!!!

I agree, but the movie really wasn't hyped that much. I think they (studio) put it out there knowing that pretty much the fans of part 1 would be the ones to turn out. But I was shocked a little by that level of explicit gore they showed at the end...

On dvd/video the movie will do well... and I think it's a good sequel. I'm glad you agree with me that it was at least a pretty good follow-up to the original film.
