Suzuki of Van Nuys called yesterday and told me they were ordering my front brake parts on the recall for my 2022 busa. I told them I wasn't having problems with the front brake, but I'm going to get it done anyways. Good thing is, they will schedule and do the work while I wait all on the same day. That has been a good dealership in customer service. Small mom-and-pop operation handed down for generations in Van Nuys.

According to Suzuki’s official recall report, approximately 2,552 bikes produced between March 26, 2021 and January 11, 2022 are believed to be affected. This represents 100 percent of the population. Affected bikes have VINs ranging between JS1EJ11B5N7100001 and JS1EJ11B7N7102431, or between JS1EJ11D3N7100001 and JS1EJ11D2N7100247.

Well this is a little confusing. My vin says MFD in 05/21 but my vin has B0N71 which seems to fall outside the range.

If you are extremely concerned just buy one and replace on your dime or head over to suzuki website and enter your vin # there and see if the recall affects your unit. NHSTA also has a vin lookup.

My bike has been at the dealer for the last week as they were trying to recreate the issue I was having. A few days ago mine was not included in the recall, but after reading this I checked again and it is. Called the dealer and they confirmed it. They are ordering the parts. Last time I was riding, the brake lever went right to the grip in the middle of a two hour ride, it was getting more frequent. My tombstone could have said "I told you that there was a problem"! Anyway, it will finally get fixed.

According to Suzuki’s website mine isn’t included ‍♂️ I’m going to call the dealership and see what they say and then debate finally
Putting the brembo MC on and saying forget it or seeing what changes
