To many things to look at but here goes..... First off never had a lick of problem with the bike! Today 12/29/03 went for a little winter ride..... (00 Busa) with very minor mods. Exhaust, K&N filter, & nothing else.... The bike ran great the first forty minutes then out of no where it dies! Lasted about 4-5 seconds, I was coasting around 40 MPH glanced down and saw the check engine light was on. Then faster than you can say "Theres no place like home" it was up and running again. Did this one more time before I made it home. I plan on checking the TO sensor and ECU.... any other suggestions or similar experiences with your bike? Grounded in Ks.... One last thing I did check the engine kill switch for a lose connection. This wasn't the problem.

Check the kick stand switch also. I've heard of those causing problems like what you're having.

I don't know exactly were I saw it here on the board but somebody had a similar problem with their bike cutting out for a few seconds and then coming back on. Check with VABUSA I think it has happened to her and she might remember the post. One member had a faulty connection at the fuse block which a problem like this.
