CZ wheel video . Willie ;)

Γιατί όχι PVM;

Sorry man, it's all Greek to me...:D I did a couple tours in Cyprus but never learned to write the language.

I like the CZ wheels, I think they look amazing. But there are a lot of nice wheels out there, and I don't want to spend $2,500 on wheels that are "now fixed" if you know what I mean. I'm still not sure where I'm going wheel wise. The Marachesini wheels were my first choice but are difficult to find for the Busa these days. OZ are nice and I don't know of problems with them past or present. I'm still not wanting to go CF but my search keeps putting them back on the top of the list.

I'm going to make a decision soon though.

i try again!
Why not PVM wheels??

So $2500 for these or $3500 for BST what's the weight difference and if your already spending 2500 should you just wait a bit more and go all the way?

I would love a set of either but I think I might wait until a gen 3. Would hate to spend the money only to sell bike if I really like a new one since I'm assuming they won't be able to transfer.

I actually I like the V-10 spoke wheels better. One of the things I like about the Forged Aluminum wheels is their strength for pot holes and the ability to have smaller spokes. The 6-spoke really look like the latest CF offerings.

Hold on, I thought BSTs were like 6500$?

Something to consider BST are great, but not any or every shop is capable of preventing damage to them. Many shops refuse CF wheel tire changes.
If you do your own like me it's a non issue till out on a ride to have a nail ruin a trip.
Easy to fix a anodized alum rim v's carbon fiber. CZ can be found on sale a few times a year @ 1899. The extra thousand plus for CF can upgrade a rear shock or anything else.

I replaced the bearings, one felt like it had a tiny nick in the race when rotated with my finger so i replaced all the bearings, other than that it's been 12 problem free years with mine.

cheers

any excuse for a photo.... LOL....

Find a good competent shop , with good equipment and skills , and they should be able to easily change tires on BST wheels . I have many shops in my city , but only 1 that I take my BST wheels to , deliver them in hand removed from bike , and wait while it's done . BST wheels are worth all extra $ and hassle if any ?? IMHO .

Is there weights listed somewhere? I couldn't find them but they do look nice.
These wheels have been developed strictly according to the requests and recommendations of premium racing partners. The new 10 spoke forged wheels are 10% lighter and stiffer then all wheels before! The spoke design gives up to 40% higher stiffness stability on acceleration and braking.
The overall weight on this new design is from 2.7kg for the front wheel and from 3.9 kg for the rear one.
The front wheel dimension is: 3.5 x 17.
Manufactured in Aluminium.

CZ has come a long way,,, before the buy out, thay had there ups and downs. Some anodizing issues, bearing, quality control.
But they worked thru it, i have owned 5 sets of there wheels, as well as Dymags, BST's and Performance machine. The CZs are still the easiest vender to deal with.
Here is the Dragon bike in it real early form, from 2006

I found out that the price is for the wheel and the bearings (Ceramic or Standard) only. Still need Carriers, Discs and sprocket..My Blue r's were just about 5k. with the ceramic bearings. Rear is like 17 x 6.25..and I believe it was almost $2700.
