so i've bought a new 120 link chain and am getting ready to put it on the bike when i think maybe i should check the stock length. well its 112, so how do i go about breaking this chain. (no master links to knock out)
I used a grinder to grind the side of a pin then used a chain tool to push it out
when you do it count it out and be sure you have a male end and a femal end that will go together with the master link as the 112th link
you need to line the pin on the riveter up with the pin on the link it may be hard to see and push it threw
or you could just cut the link with the grinder
