Given a chance they'll ram you if you run here too. Running is always so dumb. No matter what you were being stopped for, it's never a good idea to add a sure felony to the deal.
Blowing red lights, ramming the bike, wtf? I have no mercy for runners but that pursuit was way out of line for a traffic stop... dang, certainly was not worth risking the lives of others to catch that scumbag...
they will ram you here too, but also if the pursuit hits 100 mph with a motorcycle they have to call it off, because its just not safe for the innocent people on the roads...we all have seen those pictures of what can happen when a bike t-bones a car at say the door...not the way I would want to go, saw a squid do it last year here and he was killed and his girlfriend was thrown 115 feet down the road....I wouldn't run...

Somewhere in the beginning there is a garbled bit where he gives the license plate number and asks if that is the vehicle. Dispatch confirms. That tells me that they were looking for him for something. Then Do3 noted the tossing of something as well. Just confirms to me that he was not in the "just a traffic stop" category.
The officers stupid moves came at the end of the chase when he is actually arresting the guy.
He made the statement "I will blow your head off" and "I will kill you". Unprofessional and could cause for some charges to be reduced or a case thrown out.
I don't know their rules on PIT maneuvers and the use of them on motorcycles. Most places will only do it below a certain speed when the chance presents itself. Dispatch said it was cleared, so I assumed that he met all the requirements and the officer took that moment where he slowed down to stop him.
They kept mentioning a gun at the end. There may have been a shooting and he the suspect. Which would make the intensity of the stop procedures make sense. However that is just a guess.
