Has anyone successfully done this? So, the plastic coolant overflow tank on my Gen I 06 has a pin hole crack very close to the top engine side (see pic) may have been there since i purchased just found it in my pre-ride check. She does not overheat or leak while riding.

So i have looked on the net for possible applications everything from Silicone to Epoxy but have read conflicting results so my question is, has anyone successfully used any of the applications or should i just buy a new one?

Thanks in advance

It is a low pressure tank. I would look into a plastic welder. I have a cheap one I bought off eBay and it works great. I have welded busted fuel tanks on dirt bikes and hydraulic reservoirs on snow blades. They also work on fairings. Haven't tried on the busa but alot of off road.
