clutch thickness

I have a turbo build with brocks clutch mod and using an NLR boost compestaing clutch. Can I run normal OEM fibers and steels at 2in thickness? When I pulled the clutches out they are thicker than 2in, has extra fiber and steel.

I have never messed with clutches. What is the difference between running a thicker stack vs a shorter stack? I would assume a thicker stack would mean more pressure on the plates and less slippage when on the throttle.

To much stack height will make it clutch engagement earlier. Not enough stack height can cause slipping clutch. You should be able to run a stock clutch pack and be fine
