Clutch question

Can someone tell me if you install an aftermarket clutch kit, do you do away with the seat wave washer and clutch washer that goes on after your first friction plate, the one that is a little smaller than all the rest of the plates, or does the aftermarket kit come with that same smaller plate, and you still use the washers?

You had to with last years APE clutch pack, but their instructions did not mention it. Easy way to see is if the first plate has a different inside diameter compared to the stock plate. You will never get the stack height correct if the wave washer is in the way.
