clutch problem!

my buddy has a 04 gxsr 1K and his problem is that anythime he gets over 5K the clutch either has NOTHING or has no slip and grabs HARD! He said he cant feather the clutch at all over 5K..... any suggestions?

btw: the clutch plates and discs look fine.

call me tomorrow and i will get a better understanding and might can help you.It sounds though as if the clutch springs maybe binding.503-786-1407

I get exactly the same problem on my Busa for some reason. Just seems to grab if I use that kinda rpm?
