Seems like clutch not engaging

Under hard accel seems like clutch will slip then grab pretty violently.i had this problem before I replaced the clutch discs and I still experience it.i really don't think my hand is on clutch lever but that also seems very sensitive if u breath on the lever the clutch disengages. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.oh the bike is a 05 limited.

Stock or aftermarket levers?

If aftermarket check the tab that touches the pusher rod in the end of m/c

If stock or aftermarket check the gold circle pushed for being ovaled if ovaled replace it.

When you replaced the clutch, did you measure the width of the clutch pack? Is it the correct width?

Aftermarket chrome levers brand new . I had these before I believe they are stick ones chromed. The problem occurred a couple 3 years after levers been on that long. No I didn't measure clutch pack but had same problem before I installed the new set. I figured should have measured springs possibly but didn't have verner calipers.
