I use Avon Storm (now Avon 2 Ultra)
I got 7000 out of the last one.

Depends on the brand of tire you're looking for. This place has killer deals on Michelins.

I loved the Avon Storms that I had on my bike. I would love to know who has the best price on the Avon Storms, because I would love to put them back on my bike. I have the Pirelli Angels on there now and I do like them, but they do seem to be a little slippery when they are cold.

I've had the storms since i took off the factory whatevers. Just bought the angels that someone alerted us too for a great price. Front/rear 257.00 shipped. Hope they do as well as my storms..

You asked for a CHEAP tire. Not where everyone gets their Avon tires.

To me, you get what you pay for. And for drag racing, you will not find a better all around tire for the price.

That is why I run a Metzler on the front

Been running Shinko 009 for 20K miles. Great milage and never a problem. Have run them at the drag strip, and did two track days in the rain with Shinko's. I buy them at motorcycle superstore for $165 for a front and rear, with free shipping.
