Do you have to pull the engine to change the transmission output shaft? I was just wondering. I read that this is the "weak link"? I just had the clutch replaced and was wondering if I should of had this done at the same time?
Thanks,
Shawn
No, I'm not putting that much power down (unfortunatley!!). I was wondering if I should have had them change the shaft while the clutch was being replaced incase I did add turbo in the future.
I am doing a 1397 build this winter. I will have ~ 200whp. All the research I have done tells me that the stocker is fine at that horse power level. It is not needed until you get into the bigger hp. I am not an expert by any means, just what I have found.
