well the time has come for me to start planning my trip to NCOM National Convention. this year it is in Indianapolis Indiana.
round trip should be about 2700mi.
im cutting it close getting the bike ready. ordered tires, chain and sprockets, crush drive, air filter. they should be here next week.

i have a friend riding with me this time.
 after Memphis, my members decided i need a chaperone.
were going to leave out the 3rd or 4th. i need to be in Indy by the 8th for a board meeting.
weather allowing, i want to go across South Dakota. i have a friend in Mitchell i want to go see. returning through Nebraska.
i Must be home by the 17th, as my wife is leaving for a Shriner lady's convention on that day.

:poke: soo, anyone have a big back yard? 2 trees to hang a hammock?

any of yall want to go to the NCOM Convention?

 wheres the Cow at? might be a good opportunity to bring it to the Rockies for a ride.

i have never been to Indiana, i'd dig meeting some of yall in that part of the world. :cheerleader:

I agree with the members, you do need a chaperone
I hope that you do listen this time, "Stay away from trouble":poke:
Have fun and ride safe

sounds like another great road trip if you can stay off the sidewalk while filming  would offer you a corner to curl up in but i'm south of where you are going to be traveling and i'm going to be in MS during that time frame anyway...hope you have a lock-up free good time :beerchug:

Not to change the subject... but just curious how many miles you got out of the original chain, sprockets, and cush drive?

almost 20,000mi. and the sprockets still look pretty good. the crush rubber was toast though, as well as the chain.

my parts are here! Cousin Jon and i put things together last night.

 Here, take a look. :hehe:

 i was wondering if anyone was going to say anything about the lube.

 i never plan on getting in trouble, it just happens that way movin west sometimes.
