Calling all Houston, TX peeps

I am relocating to Houston at the end of October and want to pick some local brains about areas of town to live in. My new office is near Jersey Village (290 and the beltway). Help a brother out. What are good/bad areas to live and good/bad school zones.

Last year I had an apartment in the Woodlands area It was great everything I needed was just a few blocks away and a very nice area. This fall I may be going to the Katy area (at least I don't have to go thru Houston) I havent stayed there yet. It looks like you should have plenty of choices, best of luck to you ,I know I hate to have to find a place to stay.

I'm living in Waller, just down the road from ya. with the exception of all the burned areas, there is alot of good roads to ride. I will be off work with in two weeks if ya want to check the area out. I will PM my number to ya...
