Can a Car pass CALIFORNIA Smog with an Exhaust Leak ?

If it's fuel injected, probably not. It depends on exhaust leak location though.

The guy that owned this car before had HEADERS Installed..................:wtf:

Not Good in a MID Engine car that allready has Issues with Heat. But that is another Story

May not pass the visual inspection if it is audible. Just tell them to "run it".

Is the leak in front of or behind the catalytic converter? If it's behind you should be OK. If it's in front, you more than likely won't pass.

You've also piqued my interest with the "mid-engined" statement. Whatcha got? Boxster, Mr2, Fiero?
