On the other hand, if Palomar is 30 minutes from San Diego. Maybe we could ride Angeles Crest on Saturday and then go down to Palomar on Sunday and pick Devil Dog up after he gets off watch and ride Palomar on Sunday?

Sounds cool Ron.  Of course you and Rich are always welcome to stay at the house.  We have a guest bedroom and a pullout couch, maybe one at our place and one at Wags'.  Either way whatever you guys want to do is cool.

Don't know about making the ride yet, I work Fri-Tues.  But I'll check into getting off of work.

A good to place to meet for the palomar run if there are guys coming from San Diego is Temecula.  There are a couple gas stations on Hwy79 in Temecula.  Its where we turn off of the 15 and start heading East whether you're coming from SD or LA.

A good place to meet for Angeles Crest is at the shell gas station at the 2 and 210.  Its right at the bottom of the hill and a good place to gas up.

If you end up making a loop back....like up the Owens valley, past Bishop to 395 north???
Gotta take a small detour; Go over the Whites just south of Bishop @ Lone pine. Road goes over the Inyo's/Whites and into Nevada then north...Awesome road!!!

Yeah.....All day Sat till 0800 Sunday morning.  Can't trade unless life or death situation.  SgtMaj gets torqued over that issue.  You leaving Sunday?

Yeah. not totally sure of the schedule, but figuring ride down Friday night.

Get up and ride all day Saturday. Get some sleep and head back Sunday morning.

I would try to pull some strings, but I aint taking on a SgtMaj lol

Maybe Sunday morning....I'll fly up there and at least say Hi....But you're probably leaving early to get a good head start?     I'm ticked off now!

If you feel like riding up somewhere after a 24 hour watch, we can probably meet for lunch somwhere.

I dont think Rich ever works so I think he is open. He just gets his pay checks mailed to him  

And my family is going to be gone so I dont have to be back real early. I dont know the area so I dont know where would be a good meeting place. Maybe Riverside?

I like Palomar; probably one of the best roads down here.  Lotsa cops patrolling it these days, however.
