Boston Marathon Bombing

GNBRETT, I just read your comments on this thread and to be honest, with your lack of common sense and reasoning I think your dept should reevaluate your mental stability and ability to carry out your duties as an officer of the law. Ive heard alot of self righteous idiots in my days but you have consistently had some of the worst logic period. I would not rely on you to watch my back. As far as Im concerned the Connecticut public would be safer with you at the french fry station than with Police authority. Im done with you.
whats a matter? the truth that we have gun nutz running around our country wanting to overthrow the governemnt and committ terroism piss you off? well, it should. are you going to refute anything I said or just sound like some 4 year old? cause that what little kids do when they cant back up their opinion. how lame....

'Thousands of Whacos' huh?
Everyday more and more you sound like an elitist cop.
I'm on 4 different cop sites on facebook. Cops are not anti 2A. The liberal leaning site is police one and the comments they get aren't friendly when they follow up gun control.

Don't care what religion they are just hope they catch the right person.

What's truly sad is that the moment things like this happen here on our soil, the immediate response from all sides is to pick things apart, to make it all about something it's not even about (guns, religion, solar flares...whatever). The simple fact that we don't have the facts, we don't know what's really happened or why, yet here we all are, fighting over things that only polarize this nation and make us weaker...

I'd like to know the facts first, the who and why, then we hammer things out and determine where blame lies. THIS is what's wrong with America today...the media spin and we eat it up, spew it back out, twist it in our favor and argue ad nauseum with one another.

How about we just hold all of those whose lives just changed drastically in our thoughts and mourn for those just lost to a senseless act of cowardness? :2cents:

I can't speak for Blanca, but I think both of us were being satirical in our comments. This thread was to inform everyone of the tragedy and to actually get a little speculation going.

I wasn't pointing a finger at you Robert, but the downward spiral and "reason to complain" about things completely unrelated to this tragedy is resulting in name-calling and arguments here.

I'm sorry about that. I heard last night that there is a negative thing going on on the internet and that long time friends are parting company electronically.

Neanderthal, testosterone, mentally unstable people killing innocents to prove their unimportant points through murder. The outcome is exactly the same each time: Death of the Innocent. As they say, "Repeating the same behavior over n' over again, expecting a different outcome is INSANITY". Nothing will change because of this desperate action. The good, innocent, faithful and strong will continue to persevere.

Is that in front of the police station? I dont recall seeing any place in midtown with parking spaces like that that was not a police facility.

Im gonna say it is in front on the Champs Athletic clothing store, or close to it. Acutually just saw the same view on the news, they got more spots

I really don't care what the cause is that someone is trying to support but I do think that we all can easily agree that whomever it is should be found and die a miserable death, nameless and with no martyrdom going to him or his cause... Can we all agree on that? I don't care if they say that are pro gun, pro life, Al-Qaeda, neo nazi or the people of wal mart... The act is terrorism... Who they say they support is of no matter to me... find them, kill them.

Is there any significance to apr 15th tax day? It is what it is...it probably could have been worse...people are going to fight and never see eye to eye

That is totally spot on and it alludes to the specific group doing the deed. Smells of Domestic Militia/Anti-Gov/Anarchist movements particularly on a day like this.

but I thought I was crazy to think some gun nut couldnt set off a bomb? how come you havnt responded that that crazy notion? ill tell you why, cause you know im right and that pisses gun nutz like you off.

Read carefully my post above Brett...

we should shelf this thread and the "theorys' and remind ourselves to check it in couple months and look back and see...what was found out.

With pretty much every moment of life being recorded while out in public, I'm sure we'll hear something soon.

When I heard Boston Marathon, I couldn't help but think of the scene from a recently aired Family Guy where Peter drives his car through the crowd of runners at the Boston Marathon to win the race. Today it's all over the news. I forgot that later in that same episode, Peter sets off two bomb blasts from a cell phone.

Could easily be some deranged basement dweller came up with this idea based off a cartoon. Anyone remember the Beavis and Butthead bowling ball incident?

Lots of speculation, looking back on our history with events like these, I would guess a leftist who is pissed Obama is " caving" on gun control, allegedly. Way more leftist killings and bombings happened in our history than from the so called right. Hell one of Obama's best friends and mentors is a bomber, don't be so surprised. Either way, its sad if anyone who has a grudge thinks its okay to kill innocents to make a deranged point, it wont work. Its also sad that Americans scare so easily these days, ready to give up their freedoms for a little perceived safety. Lets see what they come up with but always look at the answer in a critical manner, lots of politicians with agendas and they have no problem using pile of dead kids to push it. Someone combined two episodes into a short clip and uploaded it to youtube. It's not as bad as it sounds since they're unrelated storylines.
