If it makes one person think twice about riding without their gear or paying a little more attention while driving with four wheels, then I say the site did it's job. I didn't read MPH 200 preaching to anyone here.

I don't think a reminder to be safe and reminding us to scan every now and again is a bad thing.

Be safe out there people. After a year long deployment to Al Asad Iraq Feb 04 - Feb 05... We lost a soldier 3 weeks after coming home because he failed to wear his helmet. A truck pulled out of an ATM drive through and onto the road in front of him... He wasn't really injured much from the neck down ... but his head injury was too severe. He was a 27 year old sergeant.

Wear your gear and be safe on the road... please

Revlis should not be taking the 'tude on this issue... I asked to have this pinned to the Newbie forum a while ago. No moderator did it, so I put it in my sig., that way it will appear where ever I post.

Sooooo, is this site supposed to get people to stop riding bikes? Ain't happenin' here.

Is it supposed to convince the careless among us to wear better gear? Happened here already and I hope it happens to others. Seeing vids of guys crashing at 140+ mph and then getting up merely pissed off was enough to convince me, finally.

Of course, gear won't always prevent death or dismemberment but y'know what? Just having it increase your chances is good enough for me. As for road rash? Had it once and I'm not going to get it again if I can help it.

The post is neither good or bad. It just is. Take from it what you will.

Sights seems more geared into scaring people from riding than wearing gear.  Do I wish everyone wore their gear all the time...YUP...  But if they don't its their choice... If your not smart enough to protect yourself with out looking at that sight... You are pretty much a candidate for a Darwin Award anyway.
Honestly...

If you look at that sight and go wow I never knew that could happen because I didn't were my gear... Than you have bigger problems than riding a motorcycle.

No offense to anyone who is a supporter of that particular sight but If you ride a motorcycle and don't understand that they are inherently dangerous your a dumbass.

The dumbass statement is not directed at any of the posters... Just a general observation.

I just deleted the post where someone took pics from the link provided and actually posted them

Dont do that people. espescially when a link is provided..

If you personally have an accident and wish to post non nudes of yourself, that is one thing. But dont re-post pictures that are speculation as to what happened.

And since this thread started with a link to all the pictures, posting those pictures in individual threads is no way neccesary
