Battery Maintenance!

I've had this bike two years, never checked the battery. Gonna check water levels now.

I'm thinking I might just buy a new battery just to have it when this one quits. Here's Pashnit link:

Doesnt the Battery Tender only charge when the Battery needs it ?

Unless it malfunctions, yes

Hey James, the manual on my '08 says 1.2 A for 5 to 10 hours max or 5 A for 1 hour. Overcharging will bake a battery.

I charge it on a 1 amp trickle float charger. It shuts off when not needed.

You might want to check it out brother, just to be sure. Things do fail. Good luck with it and make sure you keep a good eye on Juli's Busa

LOL, will do. And thanks for the information. I have never seen this issue before with a battery. I charged it last night until it shut off, after filling water. It did fine today riding around town.
