Dead Battery. Battery tender enough to do anything?

BTW, I brought the battery to the local auto store for testing. They said it had 0.5 amp and wouldn't charge.

I would never buy a battery which goes bad if fully discharged. Imagine you are on a trip, and accidentally discharged the battery. Or, plan riding in the morning, but discovered the night prior that the battery is drained.

That's why the charger wouldn't bring it back

The Li batteries can't be taken below 8 volts DC. Even an SLA may not recover from a complete discharge. The Li can also sit on a shelf for two years. Everyone should do complete research and make a personal decision. I ride daily, so I went Li. Hopefully I'll never make a mistake.
