why are you not happy?
Mikael

I ask same.
HP is right inline of what others are getting even w/pwr commander
but good gosh your torque is way up there ?
Something dont seem right on that ?

147.75lbs of torque ?

Way high from all I have seen ?

I hope others agree with me ?
is that correct y'all ?

who else is even getting above 120lbs of torque on their stock motor Busa ?

Previous 09' Busa (now deceased), Full yosh R~77, NO Powercommander or any other performance mods.
Same Dyno, same time of year, same operator ???
I guess I wasted my money on that BMC !!

You could see 4.5 hp from differences in tire manufacturer, tire temp, chain wear, chain temp, chain lube or lack of, iat, how bike is strapped on dyno(i.e. tension), etc...

The first Busa use to launch up on its back wheel of its own accord in 2nd @ 6k rpm & continue on thru 3rd. This one accelerates sharply but no lifting skyward.

The tuner said as I was leaving the shop "dont worry, you wont even miss 4hp", well guess what mister, I'm missing it !!

It might change when I flash the restrictors out. Other than that, I'm heading (pardon the pun) for a port and polish.

Top sheet > current bike 1,056mls

Bottom sheet (deceased) 2,796mls

You reckon those miles would make a big difference ??

More teeth on the back doesn't that give you more top speed & less low down ?

Miles will help increase the numbers a little but how did you break both the bikes in?

Some motors just put out more HP from the start...break in makes a big difference too. Numbers look pretty good to me after the tq thing was cleared up...

+1 on that.
My bike was a slug from the factory .
Whereas others were in the 170s stock mine was 164.
Now after mods it's at 186 and change same as yours .
And like Dozer says some bikes are just stronger from get go no matter the HP.

I doubt the diff of 4 hp would make a diff really in 2-3 gear wheelies ?
What 190 will and 186 won't ?
Never been on a track but I think you would have to be and do many laps to honestly be able to see real diff between numbers on paper and in laptimes .
Your seat of the pants feel is connected to your head and this can play games with you as far as how it feels .

Yes it does, we have ran 5 gen 2 busa's on the dyno and once they hit 2000 miles or more pick up an average 5 hp.

The old one was run in what I consider poorly .... flat motorway for the first 250miles of its life (engine under zero load), I had to get it home from the shop and couldn't trailer it.

The second one was run in on a twisty mountain road of up hills and down (1,2,3,4 gears). After about 400miles I took it up the steepest grade I could find, with a fattest chick I could find, on the back.
