Anyone know if MPH gauges (entire assembly) will function on a KM/H bike?

I heard that MPH gauge assemblies do not work on KM/H bikes, BUT, KM/H gauges work on MPH bikes.

Experts? Your advice truly needed; if you can ask a mechanic, it would be appreciated.

Yes they do work,I have some of both.

Are you sure?

My friend swears that a Miles-per-Hour Gauge (USA) will not work on a bike that was designed for KM/H (Euro, Canada).

Just being clear about this point. I have a 2005.

I've had both on my bike,bike cam with the kilo cluster,now it has a MPH cluster.my second bike came with kilo cluster,now it has the cluster MPH off robopti's bike,you know the one in all the videos that went 248 mph.Trust me dude,they will work.::
