Sounds like a good plan to me.
use this line, shows your really doing your homework and the legwork to find the best deal
"this guy at XXXX his name is XXXX is doing (insert bike/price/deal/cost) for me"
what can you do for me? if you like i can give you the number...
it doesnt work with every dealer. but if you have money in hand-check, cash, loan etc all ready sorted out.. they WILL work a better deal. its alot less work for them and a gaurentee that you are buying a bike. pending the best deal ofcourse.
one last tip..
VARIFY THE VIN... OVER AND OVER.. get pics sent.
remember a post awhile back.. buyer looked at a bike.. said "i'll take it"
next day he signed all the paperwork walked out to his new bike...
DIFFERENT BIKE than the day before... couldnt prove it.. didn't varify the vin
in the end i think he got it sorted out..
