When you get your rims chromed, how do they remove the texture on the inside of the rim?? When they chorme em, does that just fill in? Or do they sand that all smooth before chroming??

THey sand blast and smooth out everything on the rims. Im pretty sure they silicone any area that may have holes etc.

sillycone....really?     doesn't that melt in the copper , the nickel , or the chrome tanks ?

    hav a glued 1......RSD.
A lot of chromers have gotten away from dipping. I believe most triples plated chroming is now done electrostaticaly. I follow this up with the process I'm to tired to run it down now.
