I'm running low on my ephedrine stash!! This is BS I can't buy this stuff (legaly) anymore! What was it? 1 documented death related to it?? How many people died from cigarettes TODAY? Alcohol? Haven't seen that crap slowing down. Now they're starting to review supplements and we might start seeing all that stuff catagorized in with steroids and stuff and lose that! What else can we regulate?

Diesel, there have been alot of deaths associated with ephedrine, mostly high school kids and colledge students buying the stuff in convenience stores,It makes the heart rate go sky high for alot of people which led to heart attacks in the students.

I use to pop that stuff before going to the gym... It really increased the intensity of the workout but I can understand how it could lead to death in the hands of a child or young adult or even a dumb a$$ like me. The FDA has been taking a long hard look at all suplements and they should because my dingle is the same size and I have been eating those damn cialis pills by the truckload. I mean my friend has.

It is used to make Meth. Let alone all the deaths by people overdosing on it. I blacked out a few times myself when working out hard.

The biggest reason it's been pulled in most stores is because people are buying in high quantity to make meth. Some retailers pulled it of the shelf, and limit the quantity per person in the NW.

That is correct. It likely has less, if anything, to do with being abused by itself. It is for it's use in the manufacture of Meth.

I think you're referring to pseudoephedrine. Not sure what the difference is or if I even spelled it right!

Ephedrine should not have been banned. It got a lot of bad press and took the blame for the stupidity of a few pro athletes. It was used as a scapegoat and so it was banned. With the inertia from that ban came the ban on prohormones.

I don't see any other supplements being banned because not many other supplements actually work (well enough to attract attention).

What the gov would love to ban now is creatine, been lots of studies on that one. However, as hard as they try, they can't find anything wrong with it, so they can't make a scapegoat out of this one.

But as to that quote above. My friend, it is not worth obtaining ephedrine illegaly. I mean if it is illegal....there are much better things you can obtain for the same price that will work MUCH better. They won't be as safe....but now that ephedrine is illegal, your taking chances with whatever you buy (purity wise), so maybe in fact they will be just as safe.

Creatine is great stuff. I hope they don't go after it.
And yes it blows that they made ephedrine illegal.
