a little help with stock exhaust

Several weeks ago I found and printed, from this web site, a detailed explanation on how to cut down a stock exhaust. I have lost my prints and cannot find the thread again. I have spent a good deal of time looking and must admit I need some help. Can any member help me to locate this thread so I can make a plan for my exhaust pipes? Thank you, in advance.

freponyryd is a real cool dude and helped me out when i did mine. word of advice, wear gloves and long sleeve shirt cause the insulation will drive you nuts for days.
