A little fender re work

Yeah, cut mine down too.
Front guard looked HUGE without the tupper-ware fairing.
I did away with the bottom mounts too,
doesnt seem to need them even after much abuse.

Only thing I dont like is if you cut it back this far,
from the front it sits a little wide of the tyre.
Never mind, it gives me something to work on.

Great job on the fender. It looks very factory. As with the others, if I had the guts to do it I would Now if I come across a scratched one I would try it

Hit up ebay, I saw damaged ones cheep when I was looking to buy. I cut mine up and was like OMG, what have I done. It looked like butt untill I smoothed it all out with the sanding disk, even better when I did the last little bits by hand. Im happy with it.

What year and what color is your bike? I've got an extra 08 blue fender that has a scratch on the left side from a tipover. No cracks just the scratch.

After cutting and sanding it will need to be repainted anyways so color won’t matter.
