My fender mod...

I wanted to tidy up the rear, but not a fan of the entire fender being removed. looks like its missing something when its completely removed.

so i experimented some and i like the outcome....

what i did was take off the angle bracket that was holding the plate on the fender. i then cut the bottom part of the fender off with a dremel and cleaned the edge up. then took the angle bracket and moved it up in the recess that is on the fender under the license plate light. then i rotated the angle bracket 180 degrees and drilled 2 mounting holes in the fender. there is a little plastic left behind the plate for support.

totally cleans up the rear end of the bike while still retaining some fender look!

move it up more get rid of that reflector and put the tag up there and keep the fender ...try it ...for me

plate is moved up higher about 2 or so inches. fender that was hanging down a foot below the tag is gone. still retains some factory look w/o having so much hanging down.

might play around with it some to cut down on the license light sticking out. reposition some of it maybe. have to take it apart to see...
