Being a long time time drag race fan I like watching it. As Tim Wilkerson said its a "novelty". Just remember who owns that track, Bruton Smith he always has to do something different. Its not like every track will be doing this . NHRA has to do something a little different since the nitro cars only go to 1000 ft.

2 wide might be better in ways but 4 wide is an attention getter, just because it's something new and different~!~

For a change of pace, it was pretty neat to see them. The drivers seem to have a little more spunk to them when they were interviewed.
