NHRA 4 Wide

Anyone going to the NHRA 4 wide this week end at Charlotte? (Concord)Dragway | Charlotte Motor Speedway My wife and I will be there is anyone is going and might want to meet up and get a bite to eat after the race.

Man I am jelous 4 Nitro top fuels running side by side is something one cant explain in words in the power you feel from these monsters!! over 32,000 horsepower at one time!!!!

Yes I have been to quite a few of these but never the 4 wide. I am excited about going. Then Sunday we are going to stop by the Zoo in Ashboro NC. Looking forward to a great weekend with the wife. She has never seen a Notro car so it should be interesting for her as well

Its always comical to walk down Nitro Alley (Where all the top fuel nitro cars pit) when they fire up after a rebuild and watch people rush over for that closeup, then all of a sudden WAAAAAAP instant throttle response to 8500 RPMS and the first timers almost fall from the sound and pressure of the exhaust... and ya always get the tough guy standing right behind the pipes breathing in the nitro fumes as others are tearing up and gasping for oxygen.. Good times for sure!!!
