Are all model years equiped with a 2 piston rear brake calliper? Anyone else get a mooshy feeling from their rear brake?

I think the rear brakes are all the same. Check your fluid level. Add DOT 4 only. DO NOT get DOT 4 brake fluid on anything--paint, plastic, exhaust, etc. If your pads are good and it still feels "mooshy", it may have air bubbles. Try bleeding it.

Yeah you can bleed it, but you prolly do not want too much initial bite on the rear...

You don't want more power back there, I'm tellin ya, you need to back off your rear and master the fronts...

If feel is an issue after bleeding the rear, install some braided lines, you could also talk to Cloud9 he just upgraded his rear pads, he might have some input and from the sounds of it you both are all over that rear brake... Bad JuJu though...

I use the front and rear in unison for the most part. I think the mooshy feeling is coming from my being used to a 4 piston rear like I had on my GSXR750. It is mechanically sound but just feels vague when riding in the twisties.
