1st Full weekend of riding & I've lost feeling in my thumb....

First time on the highway over 30 miles non stop and my hands were getting numb too.

i was trying to reposition myself and was just not working at all.

I have the soupy 1" riser and brock clamp. joe rocket sonic gloves.


I saw that Foam Grip on my friends RC51. not sure how long he had it but it was falling apart in chunks. Feels good I guess its not bad for 11 bucks.

Gloves fitting too tight will cause this as well. They may feel fine just to try them on at the store, but could still be a bit snug on a long ride. What has helped me is to pre-soak new gloves with filtered water right before I go for a ride. The gloves will dry as you go, and stretch/form to your hands. Do this a couple times, and you will have gloves custom fit to your grip. I use filtered water so I don't get that nazzy azzed city water smell... Oh, and your hands may change colors on you while you do this...lolz..
