What is best gearing for a gen 1
1507 cc 70 inch bike
mtc gen 2 multi stage ?

If you are a really light rider right around 100 pounds ~ you can add a bunch of gear and just let her eat *

I would guess depending on how much your clutch responds the limiting factor is going to be wheelie issues. Again depending on the chassis setup, I would try 16/42 (gen-1) and see how that does for 60' and wheelie issues. Plan on trying some other gears. One tooth makes a difference.

I have all the gears 42-48 (gen-2) and depending on the setup end up running 44, 45 and 46. We'll see this year if I can get away with a 47 on motor or not.

About 200 pounds above & below give or take a cruise or two . . .

Had 16 / 42 and my old Hayabusa went slower *

17 / 42 was still easy to leave with .

Went quickest with 17 / 40 .

If I was a bit lighter .

Maybe 18 / 41.

Red, a deeper gear (more reduction) is going to make his clutch 60' better.

I went quickest on my stock motor, SWB Gen-1 with 16-40

stock wheelbase Gen-1 with 16-40 .

1st of all his Hayabusa is no where close to stock ~ he has a 1507 cc motor & we don't know if he is FAT like us *
